This July 18th marks a major milestone for Ivriy American — our very first festival appearance at the Toledo African American Festival, and we’re coming prepared, passionate, and proud. This isn’t just a pop-up booth for us — this is a moment of legacy. It’s the public launch of a cultural movement that ties together truth, history, education, entrepreneurship, and community healing.

As a grassroots brand built on honoring Indigenous American roots and Biblical values, everything we create — from our hoodies and t-shirts to our curriculum and garden projects — has purpose. We don’t sell clothes. We wear our stories. And now we’re ready to bring those stories directly to the community.

How We’re Getting Ready: DIY Hustle & Family-Focused Preparation

Like any real movement, our preparation isn’t flashy — it’s rooted in grit, creativity, and faith. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how we’re preparing for July 18th:

We Invested in a Heat Press

We got our own heat press machine to take control of the creative process and cut costs. This lets us produce custom designs right in-house using Direct-to-Film (DTF) prints. With DTF, our images are vibrant, long-lasting, and perfect for both cotton and blended fabrics. Every shirt we press tells a story, and we wanted to make sure that story was handled with care.

From our living room to our kitchen counters, we’ve been pressing shirts, checking alignment, and perfecting every detail. This isn’t mass-produced merch — it’s a legacy, and we’re doing it with our own hands.

Custom DTF Designs with a Message

We’re launching four signature designs at the festival:

1. “I AM Ivriy” – Our foundational piece. A declaration of identity, heritage, and belonging.

2. “Kicking it with My Kinfolk” – A fun, nostalgic nod to community and togetherness.
